Broadcast from Radio Mod 2010

ClanRadio was pleased to host a live internet radio broadcast from the Royal National Mod 2010. Live sessions and results came direct from Caithness to our studio in Paisley, courtesy of Reid Kerr college. The broadcast was then relayed to Inner Ear and streamed out to the world via the Radio Magnetic studio.

    This is great. I love the slight crackling on the line, somehow that makes it feel all the more immediate and spontaneous. Well done.

    I press play and get a pop-up box saying unable to play…any ideas..?

    The live feed was during the Mod which was 11th to 15th October. After that date there is no live feed.

    I really enjoyed listening to the live stream. At times I thought we lost signal as we were streaming using only a mobile phone and linked that up to the stereo in the cottage we were staying at with friends out in the Perthshire countryside. Our fears were allayed when we realised it was the audience pausing before huge applause! It absolutely felt live, and very special! Well done all involved!
