Glasgow.Music.Now. 2009

To celebrate and contextualise the MOBO Awards in Glasgow, Scottish Enterprise commissioned Inner Ear and partners Open Ear, Soma Records and New Media Corp to curate a music industry event at The Hub in Glasgow’s Digital Media Quarter.

Inner Ear and Open Ear put together a panel discussion called “Where is Scotland’s Cultural Soul in the Digital Age?” hosted by Stuart Cosgrove, Channel 4′s Nations and Regions Director, and featuring Laura McCrum from UrbanScot and the Race Equality Council, Esa Williams, from the Sub Club and Red Bull Academy, MC Profisee and MD of digital media company AV9, Grahame Smith.

Featuring industry expert advisors and live performances, the Glasgow.Music.Now. event was well attended and enthusiastically received. Inner Ear documented the day and produced a podcast series and summary video.
