Inner Ear creates captivating content. We produce podcasts, streams, audio and video programmes for brands, broadcasters and businesses. We also advise, train and consult on all areas of new media and digital production. We’ve worked on many interesting projects since we began in the autumn of 2000. The mainstay of our workload is production. We produce programmes in audio, enhanced audio and video formats. Our skill base includes radio programme making, radio station management, playlisting and scheduling, music production, editing and online content creation and management.

We’re active in online communities and strive to keep up to date with developing new media technologies and tools. We also understand and respect traditional approaches to programme making and recognise the value of proper storytelling in all of our work, whether we’re constructing a narrative, recording a collection of readings, making a documentary series, mixing music programmes, creating client communications or editing seminars and lectures.

We are expert in podcasting and streaming media and have lead the way in production in those areas in Scotland for the past seven years.

Inner Ear is a flexible organisation, able to tackle projects of varying sizes. We have a core team and a network of talented freelancers that we work with on a regular basis. Where appropriate, we work in partnership with other creative companies. Our rates are reasonable and we can often include elements like hosting, streaming, podcast publication and support at no extra cost.
