Resonate 2017 – Developing The Infrastructure of Scotland’s Music Industry

by

At Resonate 2017, Dougal Perman (chair of the Scottish Music Industry Association and director of Inner Ear), hosted a panel featuring Geoff Ellis (DF Concerts), Rachael Brown (Cultural Enterprise Office), Alan Morrison (Creative Scotland) and Neil Semple (Department for International Trade). Entitled Developing The Infrastructure of Scotland’s Music Industry, the panel evaluated Scotland’s current position and discussed what we need to do to help “the talent behind the talent” and capitalise further on our wealth of creative talent. The session was positive, provocative and insightful and proved to be the highlight of many people’s day.
