As part of preparations for the Paisley 2021 UK City of Culture bid and also as part of a major redevelopment plan for Paisley venues, Renfrewshire Council commissioned us to do an interesting piece of evaluation and recommendation consultancy.
The works is a response to an issue raised around “digital latency” (which in this context meant avoiding not being ready for business, in terms of technology and process) and proposals for a “digital welcome”. The report was researched, compiled, analysed, written and presented by Inner Ear’s Dougal Perman incorporating suggestions by other members of our team.
Research included site visits, interviews, data analysis and desk research. Recommendations focus on digital technology enhancements and the potential for using creative content to stimulate audience development and cultural tourism.
