In 2013, Inner Ear was commissioned to deliver a suite of digital media content for the Citizens Theatre’s landmark adaptation of The Jungle Book. As one of Scotland’s leading cultural venues, the Citizens Theatre entrusted Inner Ear to create a dynamic video trailer, a behind-the-scenes feature and to live stream the entire performance, bringing Glasgow’s creative energy to an international audience.
About the Production
Directed by Nikolai Foster, with vibrant set and costume design by Takis, lighting design by James Whiteside, orchestration by Sarah Travis and choreography by Cressida Carré, the Citizens Theatre’s Jungle Book was a flagship production for the 2013 season. The talented cast included Henry Bauckman, Jake Davies, Chris Donald, Jorell Coiffic-Kamall, Jack Lord, Loren O’Dair, Obioma Ugoala, Lanre Malaolu and Elexi Walker, performing Stuart Paterson’s acclaimed script to BB Cooper’s rousing score.
The Citz’s long tradition of bold, imaginative theatre continued with this vibrant reimagining, capturing the imagination of Glasgow families and theatre-goers across Scotland.
